Mental Health Foundation
I was the Digital Media and Content Coordinator for the Mental Health Foundation. In my role, I was responsible for creating and scheduling content for the foundation's social media, emails and website content.
In this role, I had the opportunity to weave together my expertise in digital communication with a cause that resonates deeply with me. Through private funding, fundraising events, and legacy donations, we drove vital resources toward mental health-related organizations, particularly those aligned with Alberta Health Services. Our goal was to create a province where mental health is understood, nurtured, and prioritized, contributing to the overall wellness of our community.
My role had not only allowed me to engage with an audience primarily composed of women aged 30-55 but also to craft meaningful narratives that shed light on the invisible struggles of mental health. Through compelling digital campaigns, impactful social media content, and strategic initiatives, I had aimed to amplify our tagline: "Mental health is often invisible. The impact your donation makes isn't!"
